It’s only mid-October, which means you still have time to make something for Halloween if the spirit moves you. It doesn’t have to be a full quilt — wall hangings, candy totes, pillows and many other small projects are all you need to add some seasonal spooky fun to your home decor.
Here are a few new collections for Halloween 2015 that caught my eye; there’s something here for practically every taste, from fun to sophisticated to downright creepy. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.
Andover has brought back its popular Victorian-style Chillingsworth in the Chillingsworth’s Spooky Ride collection.
Northcott is serving up Halloween cuteness that’s just perfect for the kids* in the Happy Haunting collection, featuring all the classics — skeletons, witches, ghosts, bats, jack o’lanterns and other completely non-threatening monsters.
*Remember when Halloween was almost strictly for kids? Not that I’m complaining that adults are free to have fun with it, too — I think it’s great!
Maywood Studio explores the whimsical, “fa-BOO-lous” side of Halloween with the Mind Your Mummy collection.
And meanwhile, Timeless Treasures is dead serious with its photorealistic Wicked Eve collection that features gravestones, ravens, skulls and even a ouija board-inspired design — now this is spooky fabric!
